FAQ > UID Information > How do I order UID labels?
To order UID labels we will need three pieces of information for each item that you are labeling. These three pieces of information are:
CAGE Code
Part Number
Serial Number
The serial number has to be unique for each item. If your item isn't serialized you can assign it a serial number using a scheme that you decide.
For example, if we have an item with the part number CP-3000-5200 that is not serialized, we could assign it the serial number 00001. The next item for that part number would need to have a different serial number so we could assign it 00002.
We will also need to know what size label that you would like to best fit your item. We offer three sizes: 1.5" x0.5", 2" x 1", and 3" x 1".
