On occasion, the cameras used to record footage on Nox can enter an "error" state which causes them to stop sending images to the server. This is typically fixed through a reboot of the camera. This can be done one of two ways :
1. Manually unplugging the camera's power cord and plugging it back in (or, in the case of a camera powered by Power Over Ethernet (POE), unplugging the network cable from the camera and plugging it back in)
-or-
2. Directly connecting to the camera via a web browser using the camera's IP address, then using the interface to tell the camera to reboot.
As there are a multitude of camera models, we would prefer you use method #1 to reboot your camera as it is the least intensive process. However, if you cannot reach your camera to reboot it, method #2 may be your only option. Please contact us in this event so we can fully explain how your specific model of camera works.
