The ATA300 is a fixed-solution, but it typically has 16GB RAM and a server-class CPU (QUAD Core). It also runs a dedicated RAID card with internal battery backup for the write cache. The specifics of these are subject to change as the processors, chassis and RAM costs keep dropping and we keep making the ATA300 better as they do.
