How to tag metal with RFID

1) Metal mount tags are massive.
Most metal mount RFID tags are 1/2" thick and 4" long and fragile. This is is too big for many items people would like to track.2) Metal Mount RFID tags are expensive.
Many metal mount RFID tags cost over $5.00 -- some as much as $10.00 each. The costs make RFID far less attractive for tagging and tracking assets.3) The tags can't be pre-programmed, easily.
Sadly, these large RFID tags just do not fit in a printer for customization and the tag must be hand encoded with your tag ID's. Most of metal mount RFID tags are not available pre-encoded and can not contain a corporate logo or information.
